CODE OF THE RAI
-if a opponent fights honorably then we must do the same
-captives are soldiers who have not died a honorable death (give them a honorable death or release them #no captives)
-it is the people and the land that we protect
-the Bushin are only for those who have proven truly honorable, anything else is death
-Rai are warriors, but need not war, read a book
-Rai do not bend to other's will in times of war (never surrender)

STRENGTHS:
Bushin; ocean wave (able to craft a stronger metal by folding it several thousand times and infusing the will of the Rai into it)
Fight harder (Fight at same strength even when outnumbered/not at max)
A lesson learned, blood to be shed (each battle makes them stronger)

Aurelia settlers arrive on safe land and discover a large tomb in land with strange markings on it. The Oligarchical supermonks are overthrown by a violent pro-capitalist rebellion. North eastern scouts find nothing of note in the blizzards. Ice is seen drifting from the western Storm of Sorrow(Sha storm).

Shinkō steel: created by the kami and put into a land of hardship. it is considered a pure substance, as it never breaks with out the kami's anger, never melts despite being surrounded by fire, and is said to reflect a man's soul in it's reflection. the journey to craft a blade is truly arduous. first one must find a piece large enough and it is the Steel seekers who perform this task. the steel seekers journey into the flaming hell scape that was crated in the metal's decent to find a piece that is sutible for a blade. then one must travel to the Dragons for it is said that only divine beings may cut the steel. but the dragons only act when the world is in imbalance or one of a true soul approaches them. but one's journey is not over. one must then travel to one of the 7 imperial sword smiths to craft and bind the sword the a Rai. and this can only be achieved by direct order of the emperor. because of this it is no wonder that there is said to be only 100 of these swords in the whole empire. gifted to only the most distinguished and honorable Rai, they are a treasure that will bring honor to entire families.

Centuries past, the Black Company were slaughtered to a man, buried under the snow in a cold place where the northern winds never falter, fighting for a king who's name they've long forgotten.
Arcadian Raab was the Falcon Prince, the infamous leader of these mercenaries, a man whose lust for gold and power took him and his band of sellswords far - but no further than the icy fields of Sanith in the North.

Rising Tide's spies are caught by Viscothian flesh hounds again! The Dwarven kingdom of Khaz'regal is no more. A bloody struggle over the capital ends with Rising Tide forces pushed back after taking heavy casualties to the Viscothian's Daemons. Tu'laku's forces flank the side and thanks to their greatest Poison Wind mage Val'mutol the False Breath, they cause a great number of casualties to the viscothians. Vordana's fleets head south and begin bombarding coastal cities of the Viscothian Empire. Vordana has also discover the Kingdom of Ohm, a fracture kingdom struck by a meteor, through them they also learn of Korri'ana, Celdron, Windsync, and the Cyberhorde. Vordana and Tu'laku agree to the terms regarding the space ship. Monks from another country are seen entering the tomb to the east, they soon exit with great haste, upon meeting them they come from Aurelia. Aurelia's culture seems fairly similar to the Rising Tide's. The Eta's spit upon the celestial order and revolt in the southwestern provinces rioting and killing the Emperor's nephew, 8th in line to the throne, along with Tu'laku doctors, and Vordana merchants. Tu'laku's Pharoh demands Blood for blood, while Vordana is discouraging merchants to travel to Rising Tide until the rebellion is put down.

Aurelia's scouts to the east find nothing but cold slowing them down in the freezing winds, several members collapse due to the freezing temperatures. Restabilizing under new rule the monks offer to sell their advance meditation techniques and medical knowledge for a hefty price. The new settlement is built while the monks explore the strange tomb. Inside they find floating stairs in walkways filled strange wraith-like constructs of pure arcane magic, with the largest of them having an orb of pure white embedded in its chest. They monks in their wisdom leave. Upon leaving they come in contact with scouts from the rising tide who's culture is similar to Aurelia's, even if its a bit less refined. A refugee ship from Orvenoth arrives on the shores of the Ursine. Several members are filled with such despair color has fled from their form.

Korri'ana puts down the last of the heartless(for now). Scouts have an uneventful turn but through other nations they learn of several nations to the far southeast, and Vordana and their allies(Rising Tide and Tu'laku). Vordana is a race of strange horned sea-lizardmen in odd grab(Victorian style) with stranger supernatural pets and superior ships to all nation Korri'ana knows off. Tu'laku supposedly has the greatest chemists and doctors. Hrossia to the far south is said to have a superior breed of warhorse. Since the removal of the Infernal orb from the Tomb the Hellscape to the south has slowed its spread to less than a crawl being stopped by barriers of salt. Vordana is offering Wind magic for Water magic.

Hypothia's scouts discover Vahalloth and mange to open trade relations with the savage barbarians led by the Immortal Ranger. They seem to have a religion around going fast and dying in combat. They are at war with Skree'kanar a race of quetzalcoatlus-men with stone age tech but a psychotic lust for violence. Frostmar is a clan of ice dwarves isolationists and rivals of the Voidmar, a clan of dwarf-seers. Hrossia to the far south is said to have a superior breed of warhorse. And their is a rumor of a race of electric eelmen living in one of the frozen lakes.

Any unit below 75% will sit tight and recover in Thessia.

All other units begin 17th Reich invasion.

First Fleet will travel south from Kingdom of Aus.

Explorers will also go south, avoiding Solarium for now.

New Research:

Upgrade to Dreadmist, now grants percentage protection from ranged units due to obscuring effect of the fog.

Personal Necromancy power? Lifeleech would be cool, Arcadian's ability to personally siphon life from enemy units, percentage strength hit to outright kill chunks of enemies.

Reknitting: Undead units recover faster when outside of combat situations, i.e garrisoned.

Aurellian starts putting out the fires but it is a slow and time consuming process. Any attempt to get close to the arcane wraiths results in hostilities. Missionaries arrive at the fabled water cities of the Dragons. To the far northeast scouts find a giant fire daemon trapped in the ice, it pleads "Free me mortals from my torment and I shall serve your liege till the end of his bloodline!."In addition a giant dragon with a massive brewery on its back lands in the capital and begins selling its wares.

Rising Tide escorts thousands of refugees back its country. Viscothians forces push deeper into Rising tide lines. However Tu'laku keeps pushing their flank. Vordana encounters the kingdom of Aus, a merchant kingdom with wares from Sanith and its vassals. Beer dragon lands in Aurellia. The rebellion is slowly but surely being crushed instead of joining the honorable death squad the rebels fight to death or flee. Vordana continues shelling a coastal territory.

Korri'ana inflitrates Monster inc well enough to collect some map info. The united tribes of skesk fall to the might of the viscothians but the void orb accidentally raises thousands of void zombies, whoops. Heartless appear again. Ohm is becoming stable but incredibly hostile towards each other. Strange reports are coming from Belthonel, reports of madness. The scout ship to the west circling the island, finds a giant robed and hatted individual armed to the teeth looking out to the sea and just watches them pass by. Daemons from the south are gathering behind the salt barrier.

Hypothia finds all countries around it but Monsters Inc. find death bets horrible and immoral. Monster Inc. wants to invest in it. To the Northeast everyone in Belthonel starts murdering each other. Even invading Warunian forces begin going mad. Anthysis retreats.

Black Company pushes deep into the 17th reich. The 17th Reich curses the Black company for their betrayal. Ourus and Sollium denounce the Black Company as being viscous warmongering barbarians. Scouts run into the Central Northwest Alliance Federation of Humans, who welcome them and give them all their map info. They are part of an alliance with the Dwarves of Chicago'mar, Owlmen of Commies, and druids Ourus. Ourus has begun to try convince all members to prepare to be invaded by the Black Company. There is also spooky ancient tomb that undead arise around the tomb to the south of CNAFH.

Prepare defenses for the demon horde to the south, start extra policies for more schooling. Each citizen goes through all forms, Military, Magic, Standard, Spiritual. Put a large focus on production within my country as they see the expanding world bringing more and more threats. Increase conterspy defense.


KoO is scaling up for another war correct? I would like to send one of my spies there. Also can I gain any other techs from them?

To my "friends" the 17th iteration of the Reich: Your world is cruelty. If you didn't see this coming, you are fools. Look down on the people you've trod on and wail your misery to them, for I do not listen.

To all: There are some among you who believe us a mighty threat. I will not lie: they are absolutely correct. Whether we are a threat to you, however, is entirely up to how you proceed. I witness your societies, your resolve - and I am pleased with what I've seen. I see no reason for hostilities.

But make no mistake - we are hostile. Ourus will find this out first hand if they do not shut their mandibles. Sollium will find this out very soon, regardless of whether they beg for forgiveness or not. And you will find this out if you choose to oppose us.

The Black Company seek no war with the Western Alliances. The 17th Reich will soon be pacified. Sollium is next.

Do not make the mistake of premature action, nor the mistake of assumption. I have looked to the West and I see nothing that interests me, save for trade.

Aurellian scouts explore all of the frozen island, only thing of note Fire Demon. The northern mountain has been prospected to be a decent mining location. From the refugees its possible some map info can be gained but none them seem to involved in the tech workings of the former country. Several of them devolve into spirit beasts of despair before your soldiers eyes and attack 5% casualties to SA at Ursine garrison. Due to Aurellian's efforts in reducing the flames Rising tides colony is starting to expand. The Water Dragons are currently in great debate. "The Viscothian's god doesn't abide be the Divine accords, we should not either." "Once we start, they Fel Lords will as well." "At this point the veil is weakening" Your diplomats aren't able to get a meaningful word in. The Great Beer dragon refusing to teach your people, its bad for business. He is however causing many Ursine to migrate to the mainland.

Rising Tide and Tu'laku forces are pushed back as a new soldiers of viscothia enters the fray, 8ft tall and in full plate. To the east the scouts come across a 17ft long lizard in a cowboy hat, playing strange music. The Lizard introduces itself as the God of Construction, Kenny Lizards, and procedes to teach the scouts how to square dance. At Home the rebellion is crushed and many are "assisted" in their seppuku. Relatives of the rebels are begging the Emperor for mercy. Two Viscothian spies are caught training within the Rising Tides Dojos, unable to get the to talk, they are killed. Due to Aurellian's efforts in reducing the flames Rising tides colony is starting to expand. The Water Dragons are currently in great debate. Korri'ana puts down the Heartless attack as quickly as it sprung up. The demons to the south continue to wait and gather. Some of the imps start playing charades with Korri'ana forces. Korri'ana's spy within Monster Inc. continues to steal map info, in addition learns they are researching all kinds of music. The Spy sent to KoO is killed before she learns anything useful. Waruinia and Anthysis pull out of Belthonel warning all that the land is cursed. Anthysis starts construction of a Great Wall on their boarder. One of the scientist who worked with the fel orb tries to steal it, he fails. "You're all fools, blind fools! That Orb should be are top priority but we're wasting our resources are meaningless garbage!" -Fredrick Silverrun. Scouts lose sight of the cowled giant that was spotted to the west.

Two units of Knights will accompany remaining siege engines to Sollium to feign an attack on their capital. They are to give the illusion of being a larger force to draw Sollium forces away from the 17th Reich, at which point they are to retreat and enact guerilla tactics to harass returning Sollium forces.

Main forces in 17th Reich will pull back to feign retreat. Goal is to draw Reich forces out of condensed position and then enact a pincer formation to cut off units from the main body of 17th Reich army. The 17th Reich will be dismembered bit by bit, leaving only a scattering of souls.

The 7th and 9th Battalions will rally behind the 8th Heroic Battalion to form the vanguard. Reinforced with archers, the goal is to smash the brunt of the Nazi army with hammer and anvil while they're readjusting tactics, battalions 2, 4, 5, and 6 forming the anvil. A massive night raid rush to push through their main lines and propagate throughout enemy lines to finish them off from behind.

1st and 2nd Knight units will pull back to recover (actual percentage recovery please)

Tactics:
-set up in a crescent moon formation. (allows no flanks but is a thin line so vulnerable to Calvary)
-as enemy charges use Kamakazi to weaken their numbers in a staggered line (think British gun lines, one forward then fire, then one in back fires)
-use Calvary to circle around and weaken center, then center coils up to sides to flank enemy.

Aurelia's scouts run into Kingdom of Aus they are having fire problems currently. The spy is almost caught in KoA. Soldiers in the mountains come across a single samurai in the mountains with incredible skill that he is untouchable, he goes by あきりず (akirizu). Black Company ships reach the capitalist monks. In Mon-star territory the Aurelian raiding party is getting the shit kicked out of them by Viscothian forces. SA at 20%. The Dragonic Council has decided to act but descend into bickering as what action they should take that will have the greatest impact.

Rising Tide turns the tide again(how many times have I used that pun?)With Tu'luka taking more of the brunt of the assault Rising Tide pushes the viscothians back. Scouts with the celestial child find they are more well rested, old scars fade, food doesn't seem to spoil, and one the scouts who went bald in his teens now has a full head of hair. Astronomers discover a bright blue comet heading to pass by the world. Rising Tide ninjas discover a Monster Inc spy "browsing" Rising Tide's tech no attempt to steal is made and the spy is in the process of leaving. Viscothian assassins take a shot at killing the Emperor by are cut down by the ninjas after entering the palace. Nationalism is rising as well as an anti viscothian movement. This had lead to certain hair cuts and war axes becoming taboo. In addition Viscoth has become a byword for barbaric or extremely unpleasant. Southwestern scouts find a large mass of Viscothian cavalry heading for Tu'laku. The scouts are spotted by the viscothian sentries and the cavalry runs them down. The scouts do manage to lead them away from the colony. The Dragonic Council has decided to act but descend into bickering as what action they should take that will have the greatest impact.

Hypothia successful removes several bandit camps thanks to works of the spy and assassin leaderless the bandits go into extreme hiding.

I really want to continue improving relations with the crocodiles, however I realize with their sedentary nature that will be difficult. I would like to purchase a "Missionary"(Motivator). To try and begin convincing them of the Principles that the Kori'annan people live by. Improvement, teamwork, bringing light to the world, etc.

How deep is my agricultural knowledge? My people eat bugs since they are in the jungle I want to introduce a cultural norm that you eat healthy and what is necessary for you during the day. Then at night for dinner thats when people are allowed to sort of eat whatever. To prepare for population issues incoming from combining the cyberhorde into koriana. Also they eat bugs cause bugs are super healthy as long as they are clean.

Will I be able to have protectorates? Countries that still hold their own banner, but are under the direction of Kori'ana. If I do get protectorates will they retain any build slots/ research slots. Or will it be in the similar vein of conquering where the country is subsumed into mine and I gain all resources tech and population, but lose out on everything else.

What is the crimerate in Kori'ana?
Are there any other small ways I can continue promoting unity and duty in my country or is it now down to research pieces.

What limit is there to what I as a player can do and choose? Like how deep does control over my people and their day to day can I go?

REFORMS OF THE CELESTIAL ORDER by divine mandate
-the hemin will now form a army of permanent Ashigaru that will stand and fight with the samurai, for the honor of Ageshio.
-the army will be reformed into the emperor's right hand of war, with the Bushi Samurai and Himen Ashigaru working together
-the merchant class is now longer to be looked down upon and are allowed more freedom to make our empire more prosperous. they will be watched and audited often to watch for the dishonor that money brings (corruption)
-certain samurai will train in economic relations to watch and guide the merchant class. until training is complete for these families the merchant class will be given free will to act and dable in the growing market of the world. (train with verdana, monster Inc, Swanson, Koriana then meld those ideas together)
-the most loyal samurai families will train to watch for dissent VS the emperors word, for his word is absolute (with the ninjas)
-will give 2 samurai families the duty of seeking out every type of fighting style in the world and cataloging it to bring back to Ageshio
-the Kensai will be created, veterans of battle and masters of the Bushin. they shall operate outside the order no mater their family they are now greater than what they once were. they are the elite
-all ronin will be judged and if found free of dishonor they will join together under the new hand of the emperor. the emperor is the master of all Bushi, so no bushi shall ever be with out a master.
-it is now a crime to be a free samurai in ageshio one will either join the emperor's hand, or die.
-certain families of the conquered people have shown themselves to be worthy. raise any notable families of kazregal, the slaves, 17th reich, himein to bushi status
-raise taxes/keep them so the samurai can live a life with out want (not lavish but they dont have to worry about money)
-all magic capable people are immediately adopted into the bushi class (the individals not the whole family) as they are rare people. if they have a wife/husband and kids they can come in too but just them. (the older ones will need training on how to act)

Expand infrastructure and city borders to encompass the whole of my regions, closing the gap between them. Set up mining outposts in the mountains and encourage citizen migration into lands.

Spies didn't get me any information last turn, I want them to get back to me with dirt on Sollium.

Continue propaganda campaign against Sollium to turn its citizens against them. Promise their citizens that no harm will befall them and they will safely escorted elsewhere if they turn against the ruling class.

Deploy knights to act as guerrilla force, raiding supply lines for Sollium. This isn't much of a siege if they can still acquire food and water.

Start to move fully recovered forces to support Aurelian forces. Pull back immediately if Sollium pulls any anti-undead shenanigans. We're testing the waters, not committing to an attack.

Keep ships blockading. Move Second Fleet to Sollium beaches to have them patrol up and down the coast, targeting fishing villages. Warn them appropriately before bombarding them.

If I missed anything let me know i.e matters to be brought to my attention.

Alright I want the occupation of the Cyberhorde lands to go smoothly. Military shifts will consist of 2 parts keeping the peace and aiding in the rebuilding of their lands.
I would like to organize lasting peace talks and question the people of Cyberhorde on their goals for the future. I also want to know why they were so aggressive towards me to begin with.
Would like to purchase hospitals for Cyberhorde as first action and begin showing them how they can be healthy in their own skin if they chose so. I would also like to purchase a motivator for them as well.
Both next open build slots rebuilding Cyberhorde and bringing it to Koriannan standards.

Aurelia continues to flank the viscothian but they show little interest in fighting continuing their aggression towards Ageshio and Vordana, Casualties are still high as the viscothians and their daemons live up to their legendary malice. General Sun Tzu is wounded(60% health) defeating a daemonic champion who could shatter armor with a roar. So far Aurelian troops fight off warp madness. A massive thunderstorm forms by the Vordana and Ageshio forces. Hrossia welcomes the Aurelian scouts warmly and gives local map and political information. The Frostmar and Hrossia are funding the Skree'kanar to fight Void'mar, but Skree'kanar is also at war with Vahalloth, this has put a divide between them and Vahalloth. Scouts on the island are slowed with how thick the jungle is, their blades need to be resharpened after an hour of moving through the jungle. Sollium burns 40 heretics at the stack for supected intend to rebel and join the Black Company. Aurelian spies manage to extract the Black company spies before they are caught and executed. Sollium has a much greater understanding of Holy magic but they only use it in its pure form.No holy fire, holy water, holy weapon enchantments(they do bless ppl), etc.

Ageshio and Vordana forces are pushed back and Rethalu the Talon leads a crushing calvary attack. After being slain Rethalu is resurrected more daemon than man and continues the assault. Korri'ana scouts to the north find Chicago'mar has not only settled near the tomb but built a military structure at the entrance. To the south the scouts find this jungle to be even more dense and a pain to get through than the homeland. The Cyberhorde are without any leadership and had a command structure that makes Korri'ana military officers just frustrated trying to understand how dumb it was. For the most part the Cyberhorde is following orders but their primitive and violent culture is getting in the way. Many believe the Pit Lord to be the King of Korri'ana simply because he is the biggest "korri'anain" they've seen. Drug abuse is a real problem as 85% of the population needs a fix or will go through dangerous withdrawal. It is unlikely most of them will live to 60% of their species normal lifespan without serious medical aid. In the Capital Heartless pop up and immediately devoured by the demonic forces on stand by. The demons themselves remain a topic of controversy.

I smile at these words. It is just like Tadeo to ignore the meaning and hold on to the bushido code. He was the typical samurai, his top knot as tidy as his view of the world. Everything was a evil shadow of dishonor, or a righteous example of honor. But still he held the position of the next heir and so held the finery and authority of such a position. The third to hold such a position….
"It is obvious that my words ring true, there is no side roads on the path of the samurai. Its path is a honorable…”
“You misunderstand my brother….. I am not worthy of such a gift.”
“Why would you not be? You are my sister, a member of the royal family, and most importantly you passed all the tests. You have proven yourself worthy by your actions and your blood.”
“But it is those same actions that show that I am not. I have brought danger upon this land. My first act as an infant was to bring a war. Father had to...to…” my vision blurred as tears welled up from in me from the thought. Tadeo was taken aback. He was not used to seeing emotion and even more unable to deal with it.
Tadeo panicked, “Sister. You must stop. This is unseemly, of our position. Especially on a day such as this.”
Tadeo’s words only upset me more. Though rarely spoken, I had heard the stories. The stories of how my presence brought disobedience and fear to Ageshio. How the samurai were split; one side obeying the emperor’s commands of the adoption, the other fearing the effect this would have on Father. This conflict split Ageshio and caused Eiichi my new brother, the Heir of the family to fight the Emperor and die by his hand. Though never spoken of I knew this was my fault.
During my musings Tadeo had collected Kai in an attempt to console me. She cradled me in her arms, patting my back, while Tadeo made sure no onlooker saw my weakness.
“Shh. My sister why cry today? It is the day you become a samurai. We all know and have seen your worth, you are going to be a great warrior.” Kai whispered in my ear
I finally calmed down enough to speak “I am not worthy, of such an honor. All I bring to Ageshio is misery and conflict. Father should have left me.”
I felt a sharp pain across my face. Through tears now of pain I looked up. Kai stood above me hand raised. “You are today chosen by divine order to become a samurai. The life of a child is behind you. Any problem caused before now is void. You are an honorable samurai today and any grief caused now is yours to fix.” her tone softened. “So go forth and find strength. Use that strength to fight for what is just and honorable.”
She offers me a hand. I took it and stood, tears gone. I see Tadeo standing next to kai.
“Hoshiko you are the strongest of all of us, seek to understand your gifts, and you will strengthen Ageshio more than any of us ever could. Father chose you. Do not disappoint him.” He said.
I beam at both of them “I will find the strength not to.”
“Kabe Hoshiko do you pledge to defend this land and join the tide that washes evil from the land? Do you pledge to uphold the tenants of bushido and be honorable in all actions as a samurai?”
“I pledge to protect Ageshio with all my strength. As is my duty bestowed upon me by our most knowledgeable Emperor.”
“Kabe Hoshiko you are now a Samurai of the Rising Tide. May we sweep evil from this land so no sword is to be needed?”
I can barely hear the cheering, as I feel my former sins being washed away and my new responsibilities replacing them. I feel at once lighter and burdened the weight of a sword is heavy but I carry it with honor as a samurai should.

-when will vordana gain a leader/accidently become subsumed by my emperor? Vordana will elect a new leader next turn or the turn after.
-how much of the other metal is there in the meteor
-how many people are in one kensai unit 300-500
-can the forge make alloys
-if i were to have the metal travel along the meridian how many people could i do that too?
-can hoshiko gain control of her powers by an adventure or do i have to research them? you can do both
-how can i help the fight in the sky? currently only zeplins can reach that high

Crush the communists hopes and dreams with the fact that their belief goes against all of Kori'annan tradition. Then I am sorry. Truly sorry that you have lost your way from the light that we wish to bring to the world. Now if that is truly how you all feel, I have said my piece. I have attempted resolution, that you may see the world as so many of your brothers and sisters do. Know though that you will no longer be considered a member of Kori'anna with those beliefs. You shall be free to go out and create your own settlement. Know now though that you will be seeing our great nation again, reaching from horizon to horizon, spanning continents. Aurelian scouts to the far south come across the Primitive Zalatians, an Orcish empire that hasn't even discovered sails they travel by massive row boats. Contact is established and general map info is gained. Their culture is founded in a sense of Order, led by Judge-King Dredd. More of the Xenomorphs in Mon-stars are converted. Soldier near solium hold and await orders. The tribal Goat-men of the mountains north of Elsa's Castle are being invaded by MCR(Monastic Capitalist Republic). Meanwhile in Viscothia, Aurelian forces are finally taken seriously as a pincer attack flanks them as viscothian reinforcements arrive from Lichtep. Surrounded the forces attempted a tactical retreat to the safety of the ships to be ambushed by winged daemons cutting off the escape. The Aurelians troops dug in and fought valiantly but the vile strength of the viscothians proved too much this day and General Sun Tzu was speared through and summarily decapitated. The entire army would've been wiped out if not for Maka'zhoon blasting a path through the daemons with 1001 thunderbolts summoned by the crack of his tail.
